"Babes in Toyland" was first produced in 1965 at the Hippodrome Theatre, and has been produced every year since then in many venues, including The Lyric, Painters Mill Music Fair, and Kraushaar Auditorium. "Babes in Toyland", a Victor Herbert Operetta, is the longest-running holiday musical spectacular in Maryland. "Babes in Toyland" has a cast of 75, a 10-piece orchestra, and features a Toyland Parade, Dragon Ballet, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, and a beautiful Toyland Wedding.
